Meet 5 Indigenous - or not - artists, the heartbeat of culture and soul of the land

by Adela Beranek on November 15, 2024

Our artists are the heart and soul of All The Good Things From BC.

They inspire us, define the meaning behind our online gift store, and are a core reason why we focus on offering locally designed and made art and gifts from the lands now called British Columbia.

They capture the true essence of AGBC and the spirit of this beautiful province.

We are incredibly grateful to be based in Whistler, B.C., on the traditional and unceded territories of the SkÌČwxÌČwĂș7mesh (Squamish) and L̓il̓wat7Ășl (Lil'wat) First Nations. This connection to the land is not just a backdrop for our artists—it’s the foundation of their work.

As we celebrate Labour Day, we want to shine a spotlight on the artists who bring this essence to life through their creations. Their work isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about sharing the stories and the deep connection to the land that inspires them.

Through our store, we aim to share a piece of this connection with the rest of the world, fostering a sense of appreciation and respect for the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of the lands now called British Columbia, Canada.

And as they say, good things are meant to be shared.

Our mission is not only to bring a touch of our corner of the world to you but also to encourage you to explore and connect with the land wherever you are. Perhaps, like our artistic friends, you’ll find inspiration in the natural world around you and carry that connection forward in your own life.

Let us introduce you to just a few of the incredible artists whose work we are lucky enough to showcase:

That's no where near close to all our artists at ABGC but that's all we're sharing for today folks.
