Mission

Sustainability

Every product at AGBC is designed with sustainability in mind: we supply products that can be used to spark joy for years to come and be repurposed so no gift is ever wasted.

Local and independent

With every purchase you support local BC economy, but also independent makers, creators and business owners. Think twice before you buy from Walmart or Amazon and the like.

Spirit of British Columbia

At the heart of every product lies the spirit of BC. Every design brings a piece of the province's beauty, wilderness and artistry into your life to enjoy.

Timeless design

We want our gifts to last longer than a holiday souvenir or 'just the season'. All our products are hand-picked for their timeless designs.

Long-term giving

In today's fast-paced environment, it's our mission to bring you products that can be used long-term, made with high quality materials and designs. We want to reduce waste and bring meaning back to purchasing. Shop slow and shop with intent.

Useful Products

Our products are not only pleasing to the eye, they are also useful to the purchaser. From travel mugs to apparel and kitchenware to wall hangings.

Earth without art is just eh.

One stop shop for gifting needs

We are a one stop shop for all your gifting needs: rather than having to browse multiple stores for different products, we stock a wide variety of quality products so you can find everything you need in one place.

Mindful curating

Every product is chosen based on it's timeless design, usefulness and the way it expresses the beautiful and wild spirit of BC. That is why many collections are centered around Northwest Coast art and designs since they tick all our boxes.

 Authenticity

The designs on product we sell are made by real people or are public domain. We do our best to use real images with real people when promoting them. Northwest Coast arts and designs which are sold & promoted by AGBC are authentic and artists are fairly compensated for their work.

Reconciliation

AGBC is striving to be a positive force and industry role-model in the reconciliation process between Canada and its First Nations. Feel better knowing that 25% of proceeds from selling items with Northwest Coast art and designs are donated to (announced during January 2021) every year.
